...and then, there are some places where khakis or slacks are acceptable...and the footwear might even begin to toe the line into sneakers. And, oh my goodness! Button-down shirts are now being turned in for polo's. And here come the jeans. What do you think of teachers' fashions? Seen anything outlandish lately? |

We're just lucky if we don't have the female teachers not to show up in low cut blouses and short, short, very short skirts. I have even reported one for being inappropriately dressed but I'm not sure anything was done about it.

I went to a girls' grammar school in the olden days (lol) and we had to wear gym slips and ties etc but my French teacher who was quite an old, single lady used to be forever showing us her bra straps and her frilly underskirts. We giggled at her behind her back, I'm afraid!

My professors always seem to stay decent. Back in high school, the Social Studies teacher I had a crush on was also the baseball coach, and he spent a fair amount of his time strutting around the school in his tight baseball pants - I have no further comments on that.

In my opinion, there should be some type of dress example that the teachers have to uphold. Now I don't have anything against dress jeans, open collars, slacks on women, etc. I belief in comfort, but they can do that without being tacky.
