Default Windows 7

I wonder, if anybody here is already using the new microsoft operation system.

I have bought it lately, installed in on my computer and found it is the best system microsoft has ever made.

What is your opinion about Windows 7 ?

I have heard nothing but good reports which makes a change as everyone is always criticising Microsoft but I don't see a need for me to spend money on a new system so I'll wait until I have to replace my PC.

I've been closely listening for information on Win7 and have heard only positives. I'll be updating to it sometime soon as a result and am looking forward to it.

I've been running seven since a beta version, back before the release candidates. I just love it.

It is stable, it is gentle on system resouces and is FAST! The features are nice too-all told I can find no faults.

Even though I only use Windows 7 for gaming, I found it the best OS Microsoft has ever made. It's fast, stable enough, and provide lots of good improvements over previous generation of Windows

Do you find that the majority of games and other programs are compatible with it? Vista had such huge problems, will this have similar?

Windows 7 is basically Vista done right-they fixed all the screw ups from Vista. If you need a driver for 7, just use a Vista driver-that's what I have found to work anyway. So if something works for Vista, it should be ok for 7. In theory.

I've heard good reports on it too. It is highly unusual for something new from Microsoft to be good enough to use right out of the starting gate. I'm glad they finally got something right in the first place for a change.

Yes! Since I wrote this, I haven't found any problems installing and playing my games. I am a hard core gamer and all I can see is overall performance improvement!

I'm glad to hear it. I was considering a purchase of it when they got the bugs out but it sounds like they may have gotten it right the first time. Thanks for the review.
