My Roomba Died

And we have no idea why. We called and they shipped us out a new one, its a different model (I think?). Hopefully the new one will work just fine but I am impressed they sent us a new one out.

How well does the Roomba work when it isn't dead? I always wanted a roomba, I love the thought of something else doing all the work! My cats are constantly shedding hair on the floor and if the roomba actually works and cleans it up, I'm going to get one.
