Default Choosing a Camera

I'm trying to replace a Canon A620 camera, and don't want to really end up with something other than a Canon-bit of brand loyalty! One of the main features I love is the flip out screen-are there any other brands with this? I'd consider a move if the price was right.

I know that there is a Samsung that has a screen on the front-a little different but the same end result. Otherwise, you are looking at the Canon S20 IS, which is a pricey little beast.

I have a Polaroid Digital. I really like it but it eats batteries like a beast. I need to replace it because they don't sell the memory card that it uses anymore. I really hate when they change technology so much every year that you can never keep anything tech because it is quickly obsolete.

I have a canon, no idea what type but I do know I have had it for too long and need a new one. I was thinking of getting a power shot but not sure, since tech does change so much its a pain to deal with esp. when you have no idea what you want.

I just bought the Rebel (XRi? not sure) and am waiting for it to get here. Before that I had a few simple Kodak EasyShare cameras. I decided it was time for a major upgrade. Canon is really awesome.

I had a Kodak EasyShare 5mgp until November and then I bought one on the after sale during Black Friday. I bought the same camera just this one has 12 megapixels. Nice, affordable and great pictures.
