Default Free Software or Paid Version

Which type of software do you generally use? There are free or trial versions of software wherein you can do the basic things that you wanted to do. While if you have the paid version, you can do more than the basic things that the free software is offering.

I use free versions if they are applicable. I only buy a paid version of a software if I really need it. The thing is there is always a free software that can do what the paid version does.

Yep I agree with you. I only buy a software when there's a function that I really really need. Otherwise, I'll just use the free version or other softwares.
