Yes, it shows the sub-folders but I have things that aren't in any folder, and that's what will not show up in the list on the left (but used to in old versions). See --- I may have FOLDER and then in that folder 3 different SUB-FOLDERS, but then I'll also have FILE 1, FILE 2, etc. Those are what I want to see.

Weird, ok. When I click on mine, on say documents, I see both folders and any other files that are in the folder. Are you sure that you haven't got them set to hidden? Can you find them any way at all? If so right click, and select properties and make sure the 'hidden' check box is empty.
I can assure you that this isn't a win 7 glitch-something is up with your settings somehow. |

Remember, I'm talking about the list on the left side. When I actually go into the main folder on the right side, it's there, but it's not on the left and sometimes when I want to open something, it won't show individual files.
I don't have anything hidden. That's one of the first things I changed when setting up the computer. |
