You are not alone. I am still using a CRT screen. I am saving up for an LCD screen though. I need it because I work on the computer hours a day and I concern about my eye health.

You are right. I believe it is more durable and less fragile than an LCD screen. They said also that you had better use CRT screens when you do graphic design.

Yeah, as bad as a new LCD monitor is, it gets so much worse once you get a good collection of dead pixels build up. I've not had too many problems myself but I've a friend whose monitor I couldn't have used, it was that bad.

I would go with macfrik. Even the normal desktop speakers can affect the quality of the CRT monitor. I don't say this out of theory but this really happened to me.
I have an LCD screen now and I will never go back to CRT monitors. No offense meant to those who are still using CRT. |
