If you are overweight (and yes, I am) what scares you? I have managed to lose a small amount of what I need to and watching what happens to the worst of the obese has really hit me tonight.

I'm not overweight, but my mom is. It's hard watching her struggle to manage her hyperglycemia and hover on the edge of developing diabetes. I think she's beautiful, and it hurts to hear her put herself down all the time.
