Default Culinary arts?

Has anyone been studying the Culinary Arts course? I'd like to study and get this course and make myself a professional out of it when I graduate. I found my passion in cooking and I'd like to learn more from it.

I would love to study culinary arts, but I definitely need a lot of work! I even own "Cooking for Dummies;" that's how bad I am. I'm hoping that once I get my life into a routine, I can make a culinary course part of that routine.

I've never taken a cooking course in my life, at least not formally, but I am professionally trained. My dad was a professional chef and made me learn to cook - something I hated when I was younger but I'm so grateful now.

I took a two year class many moons ago and while it was fun, its something I did more as a hobby than a profession later in life. I still love going into the kitchen and getting creative but I also look at my kitchen and want a new one that costs about 50K.

The one thing I would love to have in my house is a professional kitchen with a high power burner for when I'm using the wok.

This topic reminds me of Hell's Kitchen. I love that show because it shows how chefs handle pressure.

My mother was my teacher in cooking. He thought all the basics of cooking.

I also took baking subject when I was in college. I don't know if that can be included in culinary course.
