Beautiful Sunday

We've had a horrible run of luck just lately, so decided to take it easy this weekend. Saturday I'd gone to the opticians, leaving me back in glasses after a three year break, so Sunday we decided to kick back.

We went to the local water/conservation park. We fed the ducks, we walked the nature trail, played Frisbee and badminton, and rode bikes. The weather was perfect-warm but not hot and only a gentle breeze.

Did you have a good weekend? Care to share what you did?

That sounds really lovely. We went to visit my son and grandson who is 8. We gave him money instead of chocolate easter eggs because we won't see him at Easter and also he'd rather buy games for his PS. It was lovely to see him! His parents are seperated but still friends who live very close to each other so he has a bedroom in each house and spends half of the week with each parent.

May I ask-how well does he cope with that? Does he really have two homes or is he instead permanently in transit between two places, neither of which are his own? Does he find he is always missing some aspect of, or item from the other place?

I spent most of Easter Sunday running around in circles with too much to do and not nearly enough time for it all. I actually feel like I need a vacation, I was not even allowed by my spouse to work since we both tend to work too much, so now it feels like I need another me just to get caught up.
