Who owns the internet

Anyone ever see the episode of Dr Who where the rich guy under area 51 owns the internet and because of that secretly runs the whole world. Ever wonder if that could be true?

Nah, never happen. It's a cooperative effort really, with too many parties involved over too many different countries and that is the way it will always be.

Haha, I hope it doesn't happen. If I remember right the guy who owned the internet nearly destroyed the whole planed with a rouge darlik.

Well yeah he ALMOST destroyed the world in that Dr Who episode but of course Dr. Who saved the day. If there was someone who owned the internet I would want to be good friends with that person.
