Default Belly Fat!

Help is needed here. I looked in the mirror and suddenly I'm carrying a ton of belly fat! I look as though I'm about to have twins. I know it's a lot harder to lose weight after the age of sixty but any ideas on targeting this particular area?

Look at what you are eating, or what you are not eating (the right foods that is). I think right now more than ever people are realizing some of their favorite foods are the things that are adding the extra flab on.

I think my problem lies in the fact that I like butter too much. I don't eat a lot of bread but when I do it has to be liberally spread with Lurpack butter and similarly jacket potatoes! Oh well, looks like smocks are my next buy!

I guess it has something to do with what you eat that contains fattening acids. You eat calories more than you burn it, so I think you need to engage in outdoor/indoor sports to help your body burn calories.

I have similar issues. I started gaining when I had a kid, and got it under control when I got sick. But then following surgery I starting gaining again, and then I broke my arm and gained another, um, 12lbs ish? And its alllll on the belly. Time to do something about it I think.

You know today during a lunch break I caught a commercial at the local shop I grabbed a meal at (sub place) and the thing talked about a miracle diet that wasn't a diet at all. It was a pill to take that only targets belly fat. For some reason I do not believe it though.

Abdominal fat is actually the most dangerous kind of fat, as it is stored around so many vital organs. You can't target it in a way that makes you only lose fat there; all you can do is reduce your calorie intake to be less than how many calories you burn each day, and let your body start to use that stored fat for energy.

I have a belly too and I can't get rid of it! I have been doing stomach crunches and everything and it just won't go away! I'm going to take some of the advice here and see if I can get it gone.

The thing is that you can't just lose belly fat, you have to lose fat all over your body. Eat healthier foods and exercise. The fat will burn off and you'll feel better.

At the age of sixty, those belly fats would not be easy to burn. I would recommend sit-ups if you are not suffering from back pains. Sit-ups would surely help in burning those fats in your belly.
