Default Gaining weight

Do you easily gain weight? I have this problem of gaining weight so fast that I have to maintain my exercise and diet plan regularly to burn more calories from what I eat. Is there a way aside from exercise and eating less that will help me to prevent gaining weight?

I do and it's a bind because I swore when I hit sixty that I wasn't ever going on another diet. I don't have much of a sweet tooth but I don't get much exercise either which is my problem. Sorry but move more and eat less is the only way.

I have normal weight, and I notice currently I am losing my weight against my will, after I always skip breakfast and stay awake at night to work. I don't know if skipping breakfast and getting less sleep at night would get you losing weight, but it's certainly not the healthy way to do.

Rose, I think you have a slow metabolism and that is why you still gain weight even if you eat less and do some exercise. There was an article that I've read that if you think about yourself as fit when you look in the mirror then your brain will process it and it will do what you are thinking. I'm not sure if this really work but I think it won't do no harm if you try.

As we age, everything gets slower, including our metabolism. I've done everything I can think of to rev mine up to no avail. I'm just going to have to stay fat in my old age and enjoy it.

I gotta admit, I do like not freezing when I walk through the frozen section of the local food store, but I think as a whole I do need to wise up before it gets too bad. I hate the idea of shopping and having to get new stuff all the time not only breaks the budget but it really just blows as it always happens during the worst times (money wise).
