Default Is it necessary to have air conditioner, when we have a desktop PC?

I live in India and my room temperature will be something around 40 degree Celsius always. I had a few problem with my computer and now, my computer stops responding every 30min. When i asked the service technician, he said to install a AC. is it necessary friends?

It can get that hot in my part of the world too, but the heat has never been an issue for me.

Just keep the PC well ventilated, give it room to breath. For example, don't push it up right against the wall as it will struggle to cool itself.

If you don't need the PC you may be better just turning it off completely, or have you tried pointing a fan at it?

I believe that it s necessary if your temperature is that hot.

Here on my country, the hottest days is only 34 degree Celsius so it would not be a problem if I don’t have an air condition on my room.

Well here where I live is quite hot.
The temperature is more or less like where Machida lives.
So yes, an air conditioner is necessary if I want to take good care of my PC.

Even here in the United States, I use air conditioner when my desktop is on. Desktop computers runs at a high temperature after a long period of time.
