Do you HAVE to have a cell phone?

Everyone looks at me weird but I don't have a cell phone and never have. I have no desire for one at all. I really think there is such a thing as being too connected and I don't think it is good for us.

What about you? Do you feel naked without your cell?

I have a cell phone for emergency use only. It's a regular phone without bells and whistles. I may use it once a month (it's ridiculous how much time I have on this phone). I believe it's worth having for the security.

Mine is a PAYG phone and I was given it by my daughter when she upgraded. It came in handy for taking photos when we were on holiday a few weeks ago and I take it with me when I go out, but I think the last time I topped up by £10 was 6 months ago and there's still £7 credit!

I would be pretty lost without my phone I have to admit. I have had a mobile phone now for over ten years, and have never been without. I use it for texting mostly, but also internet, taking photos, my calendar is on it. I really would be lost without it I hate to say.

I have to have a cell phone. I can't get personal calls on my work phone and I have kids. I need to have a way for them to reach me. I also feel more safe when I'm driving and I have my phone. You just never know when you will need it.

I guess I don't have to have it but I prefer to have it because I have a small child and I like to stay in touch when I run errands if someone is keeping her and for roadside emergencies.
