Use of Taxes

Everyone in the world seems to be subject to various forms of taxation. Do you agree with the way that your tax money is spent, and if not, do you vote to have your say?

I vote but in a world where some peoples votes count more than others I can get very frustrated. I think the people should get a lot of say in where there tax dollars are going.

What do you mean that some people's vote means a lot more than others? I've not heard that said before, so can you explain a little for me please?

I vote but I don't think it really matters all that much. I get mad because they are cutting things that we need like stuff to do with schools and spending it on things we don't need.

If you have a whole bunch of money than your vote counts for way more than those of us who have very little, and the people with way more money are going to be the ones deciding what your tax money is being spent on...probably something to help them and not something for the comon good.

If it were up to me, we'd roll back our military spending a bit. It covers nearly a quarter of the annual budget. I'd be all for finding the programs and other expenditures that aren't cost-effective and cutting them.

So really, beyond the vote that you cast to elect someone to office you think that we plebs have no actual say? So the only thing we can really do is try to elect someone with a bit more decency than to line their friend's pockets, and hope and pray.

I know we plebs have no actual say unless everyone takes to the street for a revolution and with the way things are going that could happen in the very near future. Guess we will see what happens in November.
