Default Why it is much easier to buy than to sell?

Well, maybe the fact is obvious and it is a stupid question. But I mean it. I am talking about making money online products. When it comes to click the "buy now" button, everything looks nice and promising, and I notice that I can easily click the button and make a purchase. But why am I not able to inspire others to do the same with my sold products?

Buying is easy because it's your personal decision. Selling is difficult because it involves not only your decision to offer products for sale but others' among the buyers to purchase a product among competitors. That is it involves marketing and marketing is not an easy thing. However, in a condition of scarcity buying also gets difficult.

Selling requires providing a product or service that is above and beyond what is already available in the market. There is so much competition in everything right now that unless what you're selling is unique or really extraordinary, people will always go for whatever they think it's best. There is of course, also the price issue - marketing your product fiercely will allow you to charge a competitive price; however, if you don't have a killer punchline or representation of your product or service, the best will always steal your customers.

Buying is easier because you already have the means (money) to meet the need (product) which is already available for your choice.

Selling is harder because you have the product, but there is no market. You have to create a market (make the people realize that they have a need) for the available product you have to offer.

A business partner of mine has said during a recent meeting, "People love buying but they hate being sold stuff to." This is very true. Most people enjoy shopping and buying, but they want to be in control. "I found it, I liked it, I bought it." Try to approach them selling a product, and the door is instantly shut.

I think creating a need helps a lot when one wants to sell a product to the masses. Though I realize doing that is not quite easy as it seems everything one can think of is already on the market (even though that is not true).

According to me. It is very easy to buy things than selling.

Buying requires only money and the shop to buy. Which you can search over internet easily.

But to sell, you must make your product attractive and create a good advertisement and there are a lot of difficulties.

Selling is easy because you are not going to worry about the item after it is sold.

But Buying is difficult, You have to think many times. Because you actually care about the item only after you buy it. So for me, Its difficult to buy a item. I need money also to buy. Buts selling i earn money. :-)

I think buying is a lot easier because it is much easier to convince yourself that you need the product or service while in selling you really have to convince the customer/buyer that the product is what he/she needs otherwise she'll never make a purchase.

It's interesting Merana, and so true. I think it's the reason why a few marketers succeed to sell products and many others don't. The successful marketers know how to make the potential buyers feel that they find something valuable and not to miss.
