I don't believe in that. I think culture has something to do with that, not in born. Throughout history men have ruled the Earth and women is their property. Of course, that has changed since then (except in some parts of the world) Today, when men are polygamous they are called DON JUAN. When women do that, they are SLUT.

LOL good answer Kuroky.
And I agree with you, it's cultural thingie.
Like in Asian culture, polygamy is somewhat a disgrace IMO.
e.g. when one of our relatives do polygamy, we're gonna talk about it like it's a total disgrace.

I might believe in this a little. becaus I believe once in a man's life he have made a mistake with with his partner particularly cheating her. I have known several men who have done that, but after a point in their life they can be faithful to their partners

I am not sure this is exclusive to men. I know women who have cheated on their husband when the man was faithful. I agree it is a lot to do with culture. Here in Western North America I think people are becoming increasingly unsatisfied with what they have. Everyone seems to think that no matter what they have they can always get something better somewhere else, or with something else, or with someone else.

It is a little bit like, the grass is always greener on the other side.

I would venture to say that it might be partly true due their physical make-up, wanting to spread their seeds as much as they can. However, not all men are polygamous - there are men all over the world who enter into relationships and stay within the same one for the rest of their lives. It all depends on the personal preferences.

There was a study done recently that suggests men are born with a gene that makes them cheat!

The 'experts' say that men are programmed to literally scatter their seed and leave.

I'm affraid I don't believe it at all.

I don't believe men are polygamous by birth. They can be easily influenced by friends who are already polygamous and I still believe some men are faithful and loyal to their partner.

I think the assumption is proposed due to the fact that the number of women in the world are more than the number of men. Though, I don't feel that I was born poligamous. I cannot love two women at the same time.

I do not think this goes just for men, women can be just the same but men get the bad rap for it (the only ones that get the rap I should say).
