I know normally girls are the ones courted. I wonder, what can you say about a girl who courts a guy? What I meant by court is that she makes the first move. Do you think it's fine? I just want to know your opinion about it.

with this very modern world this is possible. maybe not directly courting, but dropping hints on the boy that the girl likes him. just asking him out first on a friendly date, and eventually admitting the truth about her filling

I do not see any problem in this. May be the guy has a problem with it.
Some guys think a girl, who is making the first step, is a bitch or even not as good as a girl who waits for a man to come.

I see nothing wrong with doing things that way. Personally, I prefer to go after the guy. I like the challenge!

That would be good too but i guess its all about how the guy responds to it. It may feel awkward but trying is always an option :P

I see a change in pattern these days. Usually, the girls make first bold and obvious move. Infact even in the earlier days when I was in college about two decades back usually the girls gave subtle hints that dumb guys couldn't often decipher. The ones that took hint and responded appeared to the world at large to have initiated the courting game.

A girl making the first move? I think it's fine as long she doesn't make a fool of herself infront of a guy. I will never do it, though. I just don't have the guts.

I'm with you. I'd be far too much of a chicken to ever ask a guy out.

I don't think there is anything wrong with it at all, but I would rather be chased than be the one doing the chasing.

I agree. It feels a lot better to be chased by guys. I know I would be very awkward chasing a guy. I just can't imagine myself doing that!
